Sutherland Shire Police Area Command (PAC) have arrested two individuals, on Saturday, April 6th, 2024, for illegally operating unregistered trail bikes in the Sutherland Shire, specifically in the Menai area.
This action comes after multiple reports of sightings of the unregistered bikes across the region. The New South Wales (NSW) law explicitly prohibits the use or operation of unregistered vehicles on public roads.
The two apprehended individuals, whose ages were not disclosed, face multiple charges related to the unlawful operation of their vehicles. They are scheduled to appear in Sutherland court later in the month to answer to these charges.
